CALL OF TIMARU
People of South Canterbury, particularly the residents of Timaru, Temuka, Geraldine, and Waimate, believe that this district has a good share of the charm of the “ Wonderland of the Pacific.” Caroline Bay is, of course, well known to many thousands of New Zealanders as one of the best beaches in the dominion, but this is only one of many scenic charms of that locality. Timaru has become definitely a cosy base for holiday makers who are offered a wide range of healthful enjoyment. The Railways Department is co-operat-ing with organisations of South Canterbury in a campaign to bring this locality prominently before the general public. ________
