INTERNATIONAL CO-OPERA-TION
IMPORTANT REPRESENTATION TO FRANCE Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright PARIS, March 30, Lord Crewe. Lord Bssendon, Lord Farrcr, Lord Gladstone, Lord Rhayader, Viscount Snowden, Sir Herbert Samuel, Sir Richard Holt, Sir Archibald Sinclair, and other prominent men have sent a letter to ‘ Lo Temps ’ appealing for Franco-British co-opera-tion to remedy the economic crisis by the return of the principles of liberal economy and the removal of artificial restrictions on trade. They point out that the world’s troubles arc largely the result of a disregard of the fundamental principles of supply and demand, and they suggest that business men could do' better for themselves than any Government.
‘Le Temps,’ agreeing with the opinions thus stated, expressed the hope that France and Britain will cooperate for Ercetrade and sound currency^
