WANGANUI WOOL SALE
FEBRUARY PRICES BETTERED [Pek United Press Association.] WANGANUI, April 1. Wanganui’s final wool sale of the season was held this morning, when a catalogue of approximately 11,000 bales was submitted for auction. Practically 98 per cent, was sold, and the prices were from £d to Id better than those at the February sale. Fine wools sold up to lOjd, Southdown to lOd, good fine crossbreds to Bd, good medium crossbreds, 6d to 6Jd. Lambs’ wool was Id per lb up on the last sale. Bradford was the most active operator. Germany bought sparingly.
