WITH THE DXERS
RECEPTION OF AMERICANS A close study of conditions has revealed quite a* surprise. The Americans come in earlier every night at this time of year. They have been heard at least half an hour earlier this week than last week, and now can be logged any time after 5.30 p.m. Sonic of the best are: WHO (1,000 k.c.), KWKH (1,100 k.c.). KVOO (U4O k.c.), KOM.O (1,480 k.c.), and KSIP (1,460 k.c.). Ds-ers report that Europeans have been as good this season as ever before, and are at the height of their strength. They are best between 5.J0 and 6.30 a.m. * Many of these are announcing in English, while others aie giving lessons in English, particularly the Swedish stations. VKs arc splendid. Nearly as many can bo heard on some week day moniings as on Monday mornings. Try after E3O a.m. on Thursdays’ Fridays, Saturdavs, and Sundays.
