SUNDAY SERVICES

At the St. Kilda Methodist Church bolhi services will be conducted by the Eev, Percy Paris.

Services of divine worship will be con* ducted in the Congregational Church, Moray place, by the minister, Rev. Albert Mead, M.A. At the morning service ho will continue the series on ‘The Major Message' of the Minor Prophets—Amos.’ The evening soloist will be, Mr J. D. Watt, who will sing ‘ The Living’God,’ and tho'choir will render an anthem. The morning service at the United Congregational Church will be conducted by the Rev. Thomas Miller, M.A., and in the even, iug the Rev. C, G. Hedley Bycroft will talk on ‘ The Sign of the Jew.’ The soloist will be Miss Isabel M'Gregor. The usual gospel service will be taken by Mr R. Brand at 6.30 p.m., and on Monday, at 7.30 p.m., a lantern lecture on mission work in the Solomon Islands will be given by Mr Howard Johnston. ‘ The New Psychology: Its Effective Application ’ is the subject of Mr Ridd’e address at the Spiritualist Church in _ the evening. Mrs Brooks will follow with individual spiritual messages. The Healing Centre will meet on Thursday evening. At the Thcosophical Society the subject will be ‘ Evolution? ’ and the speaker Mr 1. Scollay. ■ First Church of Christ, Scientist, will conduct services in Allbell Chambers, 154Stuart street. The subject for the morning and evening services will be * Reality.’ The Rev. Vf. Allen Stevely will conduct the services at First Church. His subjects will be; Morning, ‘Christ for the World’;! evening, ‘ The Utmost for the Highest.* Dr V. E. Galway will be the organist. Communion services will be conducted in Knox Church by the Rev. D. C. Herron. The subject for the evening will be ‘ Positive Religion.’ Retiring communion thankofferings will bo received both morning and evening for the needy of the congregation. Harvest thanksgiving services will be held in St. Stephen’s Church, when the preacher at the morning service will be the Rev. 0. G. Hedley Bycroft, and in the evening th* Rev. Thomas Miller. The Rev. R. T. Dodds will conduct harvest festival services at the South Dunedin 1 Presbyterian Church. In the evening Mr, Ivan Styles will be the soloist, and the choir will sing ‘ {Creation's Hymn ’ (Beethoven) and ‘ Behold, I Have Given Yon Every Herb * (Harris). At the Maori Hill Presbyterian Church harvest thanksgiving services will be held. Rev. A. C. W. Standage, will preach, and special anthems will be sung. At the Methodist Central Mission in tha evening the Rev. Leslie B. Neale will preach his second special address. Business moit are specially invited to this service. Tha soloist will be Mr S. Kingston, and tha Misses Shrimpton will give a duet. A special flower service will be held at Dundas Street Methodist Church in tha morning. Preacher, Rev. S. Williamson, junior choir. Evening, Rev.
