GOOD RESPONSE TO THE APPEAL Miss Lynn, general secretary ef the Young "Women's Christian Association, and her colleague on the executive who planned and earned out the stxeet appeal in Dunedin yesterday found the public willing to subscribe, but not to quite the same as last year—a result that might have been expected, seeing that nearly everybody is being called on for extra gifts or further demands. , . ~ .
