BADMINTON

MAORI HILL CLUB The annual mooting of ilio Maori Hill Club was held on Tuesday, Mr L. G. Lilly presiding. The annual report was adopted. Arrangements were made for the season to commence on April ‘2, and it was decided to affiliate with the Otago Badminton Association. Officers wore elected as follows: President, Air L. G. Lilly; honorary secretary and treasuer, Mr T. F. Basire; club captain, Air H. IT. "Walker; committee—-Mrs Wilkinson, Mrs •fenkin, Miss Steele, Messrs Meek and Tovey; honorary auditor, Air W. D. ifehkin; delegates to the Otago Badminton Association, Alessrs denkin and Tovey. BALMAGEWEN CLUB The first annual meeting of the Balmacewen Club was held on Alonday. The president (Mr A. M'Alillan) presided over a large attendance of members. He congratulated then club on its financial position, and wished it every success during tbo coming season. The report and balance-sheet were adopted. The election of office-bearers resulted;—President, Air A. APAlillan; vice-president, Air W. A. Pace; hen. secretary and treaturer, Air R. ■) • Philip; committee—Misses Logan and E. Philip, Alessrs 0. J. Cooke and AV. Farquharson; hen. auditor, Mr J. Long; Alateh Committee—Aliss Logan, Alessrs Harvey and -Wright; club captain, Air N. Wright; delegates to the Otago Badminton Association, Alessrs Farquharson and Cooke. Mr J. Ferguson was placed in charge of the shuttle fund. It was decided not to open till after the Easter holidays.
