Thomas Farrell, aged sixty-nine, wa* found dead in his home at 101 Maclag. gan street this afternoon. Deceased, who lived bv himself, was a bachelor, and it is thought that death was due to natural causes. The body was removed to the Morgue, where an inquest will probably be held. The foundations of cottages which formed an isolation village during the great plague of London were unearthed bv workmen in Clapbam recently It is believed that the cottages were built about 1660. Medical workers during the plague formed themselves into colonics, into which they retired after visiting the city.
