UNEMPLOYMENT RELIEF
NEW SOUTH WALES SCHEME IMPROVED CONDITIONS AND HIGHER PAY. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, February 28. (Received February 28,. at 10.25 a.m.) The State Cabinet has completed a scheme for giving greatly improved conditions to relief, workers. Seventeen thousand additional men will be employed within the next few weeks. The earnings of all men will be increased by an average of 2s per week, and in the case of men with large families the increase will be ss.
