SIR JOHN GRICE Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright MELBOURNE, February 28. (Received February 28, at 11.35 a.m.) The death is announced of Sir John Grice. [Sir John Grice was born in 1850 and was called to the Bar in 1870. He was a member of Melbourne University Council from 1883 to 1923; vice-chan-cellor of the university from 1918 to 1923; chairman of the National Bank of Australasia, the Metropolitan Gas Company, Trustees Executors and Agency Company, Dunlop Rubber Company, Emn Bay Railway Company, and Portland Downs Pastoral'Company; a director of Howard Smith- Ltd., and Australian director of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company.]
