MINIATURE RIFLES
MEETING OF CITIZENS' CLUB The anual meeting of the Citizens* Miniature Rifle Club was held in the R. Rooms last night, Mr S. Smith (president) in the chair. ■ The annual report stated that the club had had a succesful season, and some fine scores had been recorded. The No. 1 team had secured top place in the interclub matches, and Bad recorded the highest score for the past three seasons—s 44. The No. 2 team had improved considerably towards the end of the season. The individual championship was won by A. Bowman, who also won the club championship. The highest ladies’ score was made by Miss M. Thompson. Possibles were scored by R. Bowie (2), M. Denton (2), S. Gillan, and A. Bowman. , The following office-bearers won* elected President, Mr S. Smith; vicepresident, Mr G. H. Smith; chairman of coramitee, Mr 6. Smith; secretary and treasurer, Mr J. Bevin; auditors. Messrs G. H. Smith and R. Mason; trustees, Messrs S. Smith and H.
