AUTOGIRO CRASHES
THE PILOT KILLED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, January 21. The first autogiro fatality in Britain occurred when Flying-officer L. W. Oliver, who was making his first solo flight, crashed at Salisbury _ from 2,000 ft. The engine was buried a yard in the ground, and the fuselage was telescoped.
