TOKIO, January 22. Materialisation of the tx-ansfer of the Chinese Eastern Railway from the Soviet has ended, concluding ten months of negotiations. The price was
170,000,000 yen. The transfer will be effective in February. It is expected that Britain will benefit hugely from the purchase of railway equipment when Manchukuo begins the reconstruction and unification of the lines.
