A STRIKING INCREASE (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, January 21. The air mail sent from Great Britain last year weighed 112 tons, compared with 85 tons in the previous year, an increase of 43 per cent. Nearly 6,000,000 air mail letters were sent out of Britain during 1934.
