DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE The General firming tendency revealed in the market yesterday was sustained this morning, when four sales wore recorded. Bank of New Zealand* were very firm, but Commercials were inclined to be easier, yesterday's buyer at 16s 9d being replaced bv a seller at 16s lOd. 'Buyers offered up to 21s 6d for Westport Coals, but the sellers required Is more. ‘ Sun ’ Newspapers continued to rise, 200 shares changing hands at sr, 3d, compared with yesterday’s sale price of 4s. Mount Morgans were a little easier, and in the gold mining section Big Rivers were inclined to case following reported business. Gillespie’s and Kildarcs were firm. SALES.
