HANDS AND FEET TIED
MAN'S BODY IN RIVER [Per United Press Association'.] HAMILTON. January 31. With the feet and hands tied with hinder twine, the body of an unidentified man was found floating in the Waikato River this afternoon approximately three miles on the Hamilton side of Cambridge. A cursory glance failed to disclose any evidence of foul play, and if there is any on the body it will not be disclosed until a -post-mortem examination has been held. The body was that of a middle-aged man, and it is surmised that it has been immersed for a fortnight. Both hands and feet were tied rather loosely, and, as the hands were held in front it is thought possible that the tying was the handiwork of the dead man.
