RIFLE SHOOTING
DUNEDIN DEFENCE CLUB The Dunedin Defence Rifle Club shot a competition counting for the club’s championship and Murray Trophy, on Saturday afternoon. There was an attendance of seventeen, and ten siiots (two optional sighters) each were fired at 300yds and 600yds. Weather conditions were fine, but a bright light and variable wind made shooting conditions difficult. The best score at 300yds was 48 by Rifleman R. G. Graham. At GOOyds Rifleman R. G. Graham and A. \V. Cooper iverc top with 47 each. Rifleman R. G. Graham headed the day’s aggregate with the fine score of 95. Following arc the highest scores:—
