Wainui recommissioned at Port Chalmers after annual overhaul and came to Dunedin this morning to load. She wilp sail this afternoon for Oamaru, Timarn, Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne. Storm is due from Wanganui to-mor-row and is, to sail the same day for Timarn, Lyttelton. Wellington, Picton, Wanganui, and New Plymouth. Holmdalo is due from Wellington tomorrow and is to sail the same day for Oamaru, Tiraaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, Nelson, Wanganui, and New Plymouth. Port Whangarei is due from Auckland, via ports to-morrow and is to sail at night for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Auckland, and Port Whangarei. Karetn is to leave Wellington on Wednesday for Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due on Friday and is to sail on Monday for Oamaru, Timarn, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. Gale is to load on Friday for Timarn. Lyttelton, Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. INTER ISLAND EXPRESS. The interisland express steamer Rangatira reached Lyttelton from A\ellington at 0.45 a.m. to-da.v. Passengers and mail for the south connected with the express. PENNYWORTH If ROM HALIFAX. Messrs H. L Tapley and Company announce that the Canadian National Company’s chartered vessel Penny-

worth is due at Wanganui, from Halifax on January 28, and will sbscquently proceed to Lyttelton and Bluff. She will leave the latter port on February 14. WAJPAWA FURTHER DELAYED. The Waipawa, at present loading at Auckland, has been further delayed there, and will not arrive at Wellington until January 29. She is to leave Wellington at 5 p.m. on January 31 via the Panama Canal for London, where she is due on March 2. PENNYWORTH TO LOAD. Under charter to the Canadian National Steamships the steamer Pennyworth is due at Wanganui from Canada via Australia on January 28. After loading at Wanganui, Lyttelton, and Bluff; the vessel will leave Bluff about February 11 for New York, Boston, and Halifax. WAIKAWA FROM PACIFIC COAST. Tho Waikawa, from Pacific coast ports, left Apia last Thursday for Auckland. The vessel has cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne, and Sydney. She is due at Auckland about January 25. THE CANADIAN SCOTTISH. The Canadian Scottish, en route to Auckland from Halifax, sailed from Balboa January 13. She is duo at Auckland on February 7, and will complete discharge and loading at Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin,.and Bluff. SULTAN STAR HOMEWARD BOUND. The Blue Star Line steamer Sultan Star, which sailed from Auckland for London on December 29, passed through the Panama Canal on January 15. PORT HUNTER FROM LIVERPOOL. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Hunter, from Glasgow, cleared Liverpool on January 5 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton. Dunedin, and New Plymouth. She is due at Auckland about February 14. ANGLO CANADIAN TO LOAD. The Anglo Canadian, which left Vancouver on December 14 to discharge at Australian ports, is due at Picton from Port Pirie to commence loading about February ]2. She will complete at Lyttelton, Bluff, Port Chalmers, and Wellington. The vessel wilt sail finally from Wellington about March 2 for Dunkirk, Antwerp, and United Kingdom ports. "‘""’KANNA T?T'T-():\i>' Vu’ano;' " - The Union Company’s steamer Kanua sailed on Friday from Auckland for Walpole Island via Noumea to load guano. On her return she will discharge at Lyttelton, Thnaru, and at either Dunedin or Bluff. IMPERIAL STAR. The Blue Star lane’s new motor ship Imperial Star, which left Belfast in ballast for -Auckland on January 3, sailed from Willemstad on January 16, ‘according to cabled advice. The ship should reach Auckland on February 4 on her maiden trip to commence her Homeward loading. OPAWA’S SAILING. Endeavours are being made to dispatch the Opawa from Port Chalmers for Bluff at 8 o’clock to-night. From the southern port she will proceed to New Plymouth to complete discharge. WAIKOUAITI ARRIVES. The Waikouaiti arrived from Newcastle, Sydney, and Port Kembla via Bluff, early this morning and'was to sail this afternoon for Timarn, Lyttelton, Oamaru, Bluff, and Sydney. PACIFIC MAIL SERVICES. —Southward.— Monterey left San Francisco on January 8 for Auckland, Sydney, and Melbourne via Honolulu, Pago Pago, and Suva. She is due at Auckland on January 25 and at Sydney on January 28. Niagara is to leave Vancouver on January 30 for Auckland and Sydney via Honolulu and Suva. She is due at Auckland on February 18 and at Sydney on February 23. Makura is to leave San Francisco on January 16 for Wellington and Sydney via Papeete and Rarotonga. She is due at Wellington on February 4 and Sydney on February 9.

Mariposa is to leave Los Angeles on February 5 for Auckland and Sydney via Honolulu, Pago Pago, and Suva. She is due at Auckland on February 22 and Sydney on February 25.
