The speed and efficiency of modern transport were illustrated when films showing the arrival of the Duke of Gloucester at Wellington were exhibited in a private screening at a local theatre this morning. The films showed the landing of H.R.H. the Duke of Gloucester and the scene during the Government’s address of welcome and Lord Bledisloe’s speech. The films, taken by Fox Films, were carried by plane to Christchurch, whence they were mailed to Dunedin.
