Sir Lindo and Lady Ferguson to-day celebrated their golden wending. They were married in St. Paul’s prbcathedral fifty years ago. Dr J. J. North, principal of the Newi Zealand Baptist College, Auckland, has been transferred for six weeks to the Hanover Street Baptist Church, and is staying with his brother, Dr Charles North.
