Hanson, the Conservative member from New Brunswick, was today appointed Minister of Trade and Customs, succeeding Mr H. H. Stevens, who resigned. Mr Grote Stirling, member for British Columbia, was sworn in as Minister of National Defence, replacing Mr D. M. Sutherland, who becomes Minister of Health and Pensions.
