HOLED PETROL TANK
No matter how badly a petrol tank may be holed, in an accident it is possible to get home if petrol and a tin can be obtained. All that is necessary is to run a pipe from the vacuum tank or fuel pump to the tin, which may cither be carried,iu the car or strapped to the running board. This is usually much easier to arrange safely and effectively than is a temporary gravity feed ssystem to the carburetter.
