CRUSHED BY LIFT
BOY KILLED INSTANTLY [Pea United Pkess Association.] AUCKLAND, November 16. William Kyle, a hoy pf fourteen, eyas killed instantly this 'morning by being crushed between the floors m a goods lift where ho was working. It is believed that somebody on,the floor above pulled the cable to bring the lift up, and that the youth made an. effort to scramble on. As the lift rose his head was caught, and terribly injured. He fell 20ft to the basement.
