The annual match between Christ’s College and the Timaru Boys’ High School was played to-day, and was won by Christ’s College by 63 runs on the first innings. Batting first, Timaru made 136 (B. Ritchie 49, W. Baillie 29; R. Alexander three wickets for 47). Christ’s College made 199 (Alexander 119, B. Jones 29; E. Earwaker six wickets for 63).
