“GETTING FIT” ALLOWANCE

AIR BASE JOB DISPUTE SETTLED [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, September 13. Following repeated disputes over the conditions of relief work at Hobsonvillc air base, advice has been received from the Public Works Minister that work will bo resumed next Monday, and that a “getting lit” allowance, of 12 per cent, on the present co-operative contract prices will be paid to the men for the first month, and 6 per cent, for the second month. About 100 men are required for the job.
