4YA’S NEW STATION
TENDERS FDR HIGHCLiFF PLANT POWER TO BE RAISED TO 10 KILOWATTS [From Our Parliamentary Ebportkr.l WELLINGTON, September 13. The Broadcasting Board has called for tenders for the transmitting plant for the new Highcliff radio station (for 4YA), which will have the same power as the new Auckland,station, 10 kilowatts of aerial energy.' It is also intended, as soon as possible, to increase the power of 3YA (Christchurch), now 21 kilowatts, to 10 kilowatts.
