PRESBYTERY'S DENIAL £Pbr United Paisas Amociatio*.} CHRISTCHURCH, September 12. A statement that the churches wer* not opposed to organised football on Sundays reported to have been made at a meeting of the Canterbury Rugby League Executive was contradicted by the Christchurch Presbytery this morning. It was decided to write to the Citv Council and to the secretary of the League’s executive explaining that the Presbytery was definitely opposed to organised games o# Sunday.,
