Fay Wray a* the little movie “ extra ” girl and Paul Lukas, with his ever-charming accent and Continental manners, as a polished gentleman crook, combine to make love team of unusual feeling and action. An intriguing and unusual story, which has as its background the life of the Austrian capital and the atmosphere of winter in Central Europe, is unfolded in ‘ The Countess of Monte Cristo.’ The surprising part of Fay Wray’s acting is the way she manage* to keep up tne character of an innocent and honest girl whom fate alone has made nn impostor. As a gallant gentleman and notorious international thief who proves the friend and saviour of the maiden in distress, Paul Lukas i* in his element. The supporting cast .includes Patsy Kelly. Paul Page, as Fay Wrav’s Juvenile lover, Reginald Owen. John Sheehan. Robert M'Wadc, Carmel Myers, and others.
