MISLEADING STATEMENTS. Misrepresentations appear ' in the last-minute propaganda issued by the advocates of rating on unimproved value. There is no truth in their reference .to “ a tenacre property in Pitt street,” nor in their assertion regarding the town clerk's report, which report contains no reference to any district having an advantage over another in the event of redistribution. Further, no one is competent to stale what saving (if any) will result from the unimproved value rating system. The adoption of such tactics by the advocates of the new system is unfortunate, and ratepayers are urged to make a point of going to the poll tomorrow and voting against the change..—[Advt.]
