OTAGO CLUB A bogey competition was played on Balmacewen Links on Saturday afternoon, when there was a small entry owing to steady rain setting in just when players were due to start. The winner of the senior event was _C. C. Cox, who secured a succession of wins, doing the first half in 36 and turning sup on bogey. After playing tire twelfth he was still 5 up, but the rain became heavier and he halved two of the remaining holes and finished 1 up—an excellent score on the day. His nearest opponents were J. A. Scouler and S. E. Field, a long way back, with scores of 6 down. G. E. Moloney returned a card showing 7 down, which won for him the junior event. ST. GLAIR LADIES' CLUB The L.G.TJ. medal match will be played on the Corstorphine Links tomorrow. Messrs Walker and Hall are donating trophies for the best net scores in each division.
