SMASH AND GRAB RAID Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, September 7. Norman Hardy, aged 26, was sentenced to eighteen months’ imprisonment for a smash and grab robbery at Angus and Coote’s store. [A brick was thrown through a window of Angus and Coote’s jewellery store, and jewellery valued at £450 taken. A man dashed off through the crowd, but was stopped at the point of a revolver by a nearby shopkeeper, after which ho Was arrested by two defectives.]
