Here are two simple puzzles that will interest the family. The under-tens will find a simple sentence in the leters given, and the over-tens must make one of their own by the addition of a vowel. Send your letters to Big Brother Bill, care ‘ Evening Star Newspaper, Stuart street, Dunedin, - Mark your envelopes “ Competition. A SENTENCE IN LETTERS (Under ten years. Prize one shilling.) Read this sentence without adding any other letters:— YYURYYUBICURYY for ME. ADDING A VOWEL TO MAKE A SENTENCE (Over ten years. Prize one shilling and sixpence.) Add a vowel most frequently used, and make a two-lined sentence of the following letters:— P BSVBYPRPC. TMNV RKPTHSPRCPTSTN.
