Each Saturday a recipe or hint will be published in this space, specially recommended by the Home Science Extension Bureau Service. HONEY AND SPICE CAKE Butter, ilb. Castor sugar, 2joz. Honey. soz. Eggs, 2. Alilk, i cup. Flour, -}lb. Baking, powder, 2 tcaspoonfuls. Cinnamon, 1 teaspoonful. Ground ginger, 1 teaspoonful. Salt, i teaspoonful. Alethod: Cream the butter and sugar thoroughly. Add the liquid honey and continue to cream till they are well mixed. Add the eggs, slightly beaten. Add the milk alternately with the sifted flour, salt ■ and baking powder, cinnamon and ground ginger. When mixed, hake in a mediumsized cake tin in a moderate oven, 375-400 degree Fahrenheit.
