Mr F. Tyson left this morning foij Wellington. Mr H. W. Taylor, called to Auckland, left by the 11.35 train to-day. Mr F. 0. Shacklock went to Christy church by the express to-day. Mr E. Ombler has been appointed organiser for the “ More Work Campaign,” and will commence his duties immediately. Mr S. K. Sleigh returned yesterday from the north. Mr C. Todd arrived yesterday front Wellington. At the Victoria Hotel, Cromwell, oa Monday evening, about seventy business men and others assembled to bid farewell to the licensees (Mr and Mrs Ken M'Kenzie). The 1 . mayor (Mr Roberts) presented a travelling , rug to Mrs M'Kenzie, and a safety razor and travelling companion I to Mr, M'Kenzie. Mr W._ Robins also presented Mr M'Kenzie with a Mosgiel travelling rug. - _ Dr Frank Sligo is returning to Dunedin on the Port Hobart after following his profession in England for a period of more than two years.
