CHURCH JUBILEE

FUNCTIONS CONCLUDED \ The concluding function held in connection with the Caversham Presbyterian Church jubilee was held last night, when the Sunday school pupils were entertained at tea and later presented a concert in Sidey Hall. A happy gathering of about 200 children sat down to ten at tables laden with delicacies designed to charm the youthful heart. Nevertheless, the merrymaking did not have the effect of impairing the talent of tho children, and the packed audience that witnessed the concert spent a thoroughly enjoyable time. The programme was as follows:—Primary department, ‘ Wake, Pussy Willow,’ the choir; song, Jean Leckie; recitation, Anita Cuttle; song, Edna Miller; playette, Miss Burnses class. Junior department: Piano duet, Norma Kitchen and Norman Dickson; vocal duet, Athol Lindsay and Violet Donald i recitation, Mona Mason; vocal trio—Alma Jamieson, Nona Mason, and Joyce Aitken; song, Noeljne Bloomfield; piano solo, Tom Barr.on; recitations—Roy Gallagher, George Maxwell, and Ken Carnegie; song, Winnie .
