DUNEDIN CRICKET CLUB

ANNUAL REPORT The 41st annual report to be submitted to members on Tuesday, states:—Undoubtedly the outstanding event of the year was the decision to leave the Oval in favour of the recently acquired Tonga Park, and although the move has faced the club with additional liabilities the committee feels that the passing of years will prove the wisdom of this action, and it is desired to acknowledge the friendly co-operation of the O.C.A. and the Chrisian Brothers Old Boys’ Club in attaining the desired end. The club again fielded six teams ,in the competitions and in view of the practice conditions the results must be considered satisfactory, especially in the keenness displayed by the junior grades. The senior eleven enjoyed the assistance of the association’s coach. F. T. Badcock, who fitted in with the team exceedingly well, and whose help was much appreciated. The team was led by Y. G- Cavanagh, whose leadership was deserving of better results. The committee congratulates the consistent W. G.
