ORDINATION SERVICE
At an impressive' ordination service in the South Dunedin Presbyterian Church last evening Miss Alice Townrow was ordained a deaconess of the church. There-was a large congregation present, and a strong choir led the service of praise. Principal Dickie presided, and preached from Romans xvi., verses 1 and 2. After the prescribed questions had been satisfactorily answered, and the formula signed, Miss Townrow was ordained by the laying on of the hands of the Presbytery, and received the right hand of fellowship from the members present. Miss Townrow, who lias been prepared for service at the Presbyterian Women’s Training Institute, where she took her diploma, has served for some months in the congregation of South Dunedin, and will continue her work in this charge*
