OBITUARY
MR D. C. M’GRATH AUSTRALIAN MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT. MELBOURNE, July 31. (Received July 31, at 10.30 a.m.) The death is announced of Mr David Charles M'Grath, United Australia Party member of the House of Representatives for Ballarat. [Mr M'Grath, M.H.R. for Ballarat, was elected in 1913, 1914, and 1917. ' Ha embarked in June, 1916, with the 22nd Army Service Corps, A.I.F. He %vas transferred to the Australian Imperial Headquarters and appointed warrant officer. He returned to Australia medically unfit in April, 1918. After his opponent’s election for Ballarat had been declared void Mr M'Grath regained his seat by election in 1920, and has sat for Ballarat since.]
