SALE IN SYDNEY Free! Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, July 30. Thirty-four pedigree Clydesdales sold at the Showground to-dav aggregated £3,134, of which twenty-three stallions realised £2,281. The vendors, included .Mitchell and O’Brien and J. M. Smith, of New Zealand. Mr Smith, of North Otago, topped the market with Abbotsford Prince, for which 265 guineas was paid by Mr Thomas Glover, of Bowning, New South Wales. Two hundred guineas was paid for Curry Chieftain, bred ; by Mr Harrv Powell, of Richmond, New South ' Wales. Mitchell and O’Brien secured prices ranging from 52! to 100! guineas. Mr Smith (North Otago) received HOgs for the mare Newfields Rosaline, bred by Mr J. Wylie (Sefton, North Canterbury). Many stallions bred in New Zealand were included in to-day’s catalogue. * . .. .
