TOMAHAWK BOATING CLUB

The annual presentation of trophies won during the season took place at the club’s boat shed on Saturday night. The president, Mr C. M. Hewitt, congratulated the winners of the different events, special reference being made to R. C. Cameron, who won the Davies Model Yacht Challenge Cup and also the President's Cup. In the 12ft 6in class the cup donated by the club was won by J. J. Mack. Mr A. Brown, the club’s hnndicapper, briefly mentioned that the only ladies’ yacht race conducted •by the chib was won by Mrs C. M. Hewitt in the Kathleen on Easter Monday.
