WEDDINGS
COGGERr—BUTLER.; A wedding of interest to North Otago was solemnised on Saturday morning, July 14, at the residence of the bride’s sister, Mrs M. Potts, Witham street, Oamaru, the parties being Marjorie, youngest daughter of Mr M. Butler and the late Mrs Butler, of Kurow, and William, eldest son of Mr and Mrs E. Cogger, also of Kurow. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked very smart in a brown' tailored suit and oyster-shade crepe de .chine, blouse, with fawn Angora felt hat, and brown snake-skin shoes with . hose to tone. A spray of cream freesias completed the bride’s ensemble. The Rev. Father Walls officiated. After the ceremony the ; guests sat down to a bountiful repast prepared in the dining room. In the centre of the table stood a beautiful wedding cake, the gift of Mr Dum* stan, Kurow. After thq customary toast list bad been honoured, the happy couple left by car for the south. Mr and Mrs Cogger will make their future home at Timaru. .. Prior to her departure from Kurow the bride was “the guest of honour, at a gift afternoon given by Mrs Walter Appleby at her residence, “ Pandora .Villa,” when many useful gifts were received. . ,
