DERBY WINNER SOLD
Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, July 26. The Maharajah of Rajpipla has sold Windsor Lad, the Derby winner, to Mr Martin Benson, owner of Beech House stud, near Newmarket, for £50,000. He may be kept in training for another year, but will be established at the stud in due course. The price is believed to be a record for a three-year-old.
