DERBY WINNER SOLD

The Maharajah of Rajpipla has sold Windsor Lad, the Derby winner, to Mr Martin Benson, owner of Beech House stud, near Newmarket, for £50,000. He may be kept in training for another year, but will be established at the stud in due course. The price is believed to be a record for a three-year-old.
