Ellis, D. O’Connell, M. Thompson, E. Sunderland, and A. I). Sutherland. Mr Ellis stated that a strip of land should be obtained at the junction of Wairoa and Greenock street in order to widen this corner.—lt was decided that Mr Ellis should go into the matter and report .to the next meeting. The Secretary reported that no reply had been received from the City Council regarding the request that Highgate should'be tar-sealed from City road to Epsilon street.—lt was pointed out that the Highgate road from Maori Hill to Caversham rise was one of the best-situated roads in the city as a motor drive, and therefore should be given preference in tar-sealing in order to avoid tbo dust nuisance in summer time.

It Was decided to draw the attention of the City Council to the condition of the football ground in Littlebourne, close to the tram line. With the least raift this , ground, it was - stated, be*

came a lake, there being no proper drainage. Several members stated that this ground had not been improved since they played football there thirty years ago, and the time had certainly arrived for the council to have proper drainage put in.
