THE DUNEDIN FANCIERS’ CLUB SHOW.
. TO THE EDITOR. , Sir, —Some short time ago ; a . letter appeared in your paper with reference to the life of the Dunedin Fanciers’ Club show. Are the contents of this letter by “ N.V.0.” correct? If they, are it would be interesting to • know, why the Dunedin Fanciers’ Club held its jubilee show three years ago. If the statements made in the letter are incorrect why have We not heard to that effect from the officials of the Dunedin Fanciers’ Club? From the controversy that has been appearing hr the daily newspapers, of late it seems very evident that the club has slipped considerably. 1 am told that all the principal dog fanciers and breeders that were once members of it have now formed a club in the sole interests of dogs, and are holding a dog. show ini October entirely independent of the D.F.C. I am also informed that th» canary fanciers of Dunedin who were also members have now decided to hol'd the canary section of the show in con« junction with the Oamaru Society.' Apparently there is something very fa? wrong with the running of the Dunedin Fanciers’ Club.—l am, etc., t
