“ X.M.”—lt is an air-driven plant that is being used for the riveting on the Dunedin Post Office structure. S. Webb (Hamilton). —The ship Zealandia made thirty-one voyages to New Zealand, seven of them to Port Chalmers, the dates of arrival being:—January 4, 1873; November 29, 1873; October 27, 1875; October 21, 1880; October 10, 1882; August 2, 1892; November 25, 1895. She was of 1,116 tons, built in 1869 for the Shaw, Savill Company, and was very speedy, it being recorded that in 1870, on a voyage to Lyttelton, she ran 5,044 miles in seventeen consecutive days. Eventually she was sold to the Russians, and after stranding in 1911 was bought by a. Nova Scotian firm.
