APPOINTMENT OF SELECTORS ALL BLACKS’ ENGLISH TOUR NO OFFICIAL PARTY fP*K United PRESS ASSOCIATION. | WELLINGTON, May IC. The -Management Committee of the New Zealand Rugby Football Union tonight appointed the following selectors for the 1904 and 1935 seasons; —North Island, Messrs E. AUKenzio (Wairarapa), V. R. Meredith (Auckland) ; South Island, Messrs A. A. Adams (West Coast), W. Pearson (Otago). The two selectors in each island will select the island teams and the trial teams, and the four combined will select, the New Zealand teams. If necessary, the chairman of the .Management Committee of the Now Zealand Union (Mr S. S. Dean) will act as arbitrator. The committee decided that the selectors elected for this season should hold office in 1935 also and select the All Black team to tour England in that year. The North Island trial match this season was arranged for July 4, at Wanganui, and the South Island trial on June 27, at Oamaru. The nominations for these teams will close with the New Zealand Union on June 18. “There will be no official party travelling with the • All Black team to England in 1935,” said Air Dean, when a request was received at tonight’s meeting of the committee from a Rugby enthusiast asking to be included in the official party accompanying the team. “We cannot possibly recognise an official party,” continued Mr Dean. “We cannot take a party of outsiders when we are going as the guests of the Home union.” Mr Dean added that if any people wished to go to see the team play at that time he would be only too glad to advise of arrangements whereby a party could go on tour independently of the team. ■ BEYOND THE COMMITTEE'S JURISDICTION [Per United Pit ess Association.] WELLINGTON, May 17. la a letter to the Management Committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union Air R.
