INTERESTING FOSSIL A QUEENSLAND FIND Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. BRISBANE. May 17. (Received May 17, at noon.) Queensland Museum has received the fossil of the top jaw of a diprotodon which was found projecting from the bank of the Condamine River, 20ft below the surface, following recent floods. Xo part of -Australia has produced more fossilised remains than the Dolby district. Early marsupials must have existed there in large numbers and have grown to enormous size. [The diprotodon was a huge Australian tertiary marsupial—a giant kangaroo. The head alone was 3tt long.]
