BRITAIN AND IKE DOMINIONS ADDRESS BY MR THOMAS Press Association—By Telegraph— Copyright LONDON, May 14. Arising out of New Zealand’s socalled “offer” the Conservative Private Members’ Parliamentary Committee invited Mr Thomas to address it. Mr Thomas, outlining the relations between Britain and the dominions, said that the. closest co-operation existed, and the general relationship at present was actually better than for many years. He urged that dominion, like foreign, policies should be barred from the arena of domestic politics. Deferring to the New Zealand controversy, he repeated the substance of his speech in the House of Commons, which view, he added, had been confirmed by the latest Australian and New Zealand advices. Alluding to Ottawa, Mr Thomas said that despite the depressed prices of primary products British exports to the dominions and vice versa had increased. This could be traced entirely to Ottawa. He announced that all the dominions had expressed a -desire to participate in the King’s silver jubilee.
