NORTH OTAGO V. ST. CLAIR (From Our Oamaru Correspondent.) During the week-end tlie first match between the North Otago and St. Clair (Dunedin) Clubs lor the Corstorphme Shield was played at the Awamoa links in ideal weather. The shield was presented by Mr H. Siucock, of Dunedin, for competition between the two clubs, and it is to be competed for annually. The match, which was decided on singles play on a handicap basis, uas won by North Otago by 15 matches to 7. The visitors were hospitably enteitaiued by the local club, and the shield was lAosented by Mr McCarthy to the president of the North Otago Club (ill H. B. M’Dowell).
