By 5 votes to <‘i, alter a long discussion in. camera, the Ashburton Hospital Board restored 5 per cent of the second cut made in stall' salaries, the attitude of the board being that this second cut, which ranged from 5 to 121 per cent., had been made under a misapprehension.—Press Association.
